Stage 1 (HI-FI) speaker upgrade replaces the center dashboard mid-range speaker in MK8 Golf R/GTI models. Featuring a 3D printed bracket that houses the exceptional Audison VOCE AV3.0 full-range speaker to seamlessly fit and operate in the OEM dashboard location.
Experience more clarity, volume, soundstage and depth in vocals with this easy to install plug&play speaker upgrade!!
NOTE: In comparison to the Stage 1 center speaker, this option will play with slightly less volume and will provide a more balanced, detailed sound throughout the entire system without the overpowering brightness of the Stage 1. If you are just looking for volume and clarity - go for Stage 1.

Don’t even second guess this mod. 5 minutes, plug and play, great sound, great customer support, fast shipping… come on just do it! I’d include pictures but I swapped it in so fast and started jamming that I forgot to take them. Couldn’t be happier. Now bring me a plug and play subwoofer upgrade, please!
Easy install, an incremental improvement, not over whelming. The sound is fuller after the install. Clarity in the midrange is improved. Why four stars? It's an improvement, is it worth $200? Realistically, how much can a single speaker improve the overall sound of a car system with ten speakers?
I ordered after doing a bit of research and the RS Acoustics option coming out really high. Easy to order and straightforward to fit. Although I was sceptical, it does make a noticeable difference to the sound quality.
The only downside was forgetting about the import duty. For the extra I paid, I possibly could have bought a similarly priced unit in the UK, but those didn’t have the same consistently positive reviews — which is why I went with RS Acoustics in the first place.
